Lists in CSS:

We already covered the list topic in our HTML Tutorial if you don’t know how to create a list than first of all go to our HTML Tutorial).

If you know “how to create a list?” than it is very easy to apply some CSS properties to list.

There are two types of list:

  • ordered list
  • unordered list

Ordered List:

Ordered list means it will display in browser as in order like (1,2,3). There are many types for ordered list. We will take an example for it so you can understand it easily.

Unordered List:

Unordered list means it will display in browser as in unordered pattern like it will display as “disc”. There are many types for unordered list. We will take an example for it so you can understand it easily.

Image as a List Type:

You can also call an image in the list type. For that you have to use “list-style-image”. We can understand it by an example.
